This site collects as little as it can. There is no advertising network on it, no tracking pixel, no analytics cookie set by us and no profile built about you.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, we store the email address you type, the type of subscription, the site you subscribed from, the time, and the two-letter country code the network reports. That is the whole record. It is used to send you the weekly edition and for nothing else. It is never sold, rented or shared with an advertiser. Ask us to delete it and we delete it.

Server logs

The site is served from a content delivery network which keeps short-lived request logs for security and abuse handling, in the ordinary way that any web server does. We do not combine those logs with anything else.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service to fetch them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be erased. Write to desk@theaestheticjournal.com. The data controller is Northbank Media.
